Your skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field;
  • Over 5 (five) years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in a recruitment firm;
  • Knowledge of sourcing tools and methods (LinkedIn Recruiter; direct approach);
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite;
  • Fluency in English and French;
  • Customer-focused approach and ability to build relationships;
  • Proactive and ability to seize opportunities;
  • Brainstorming.

Your challenge

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Director, you will work with partners, HR and the Communications team to develop and implement various innovative recruitment strategies that meet the needs of a growing company in Canada and the United States.

Your role and key responsibilities as a talent acquisition expert will be as follows:

  • Create and implement the recruitment strategy using the strategic plan and our employer brand;
  • Develop, implement and take part in Boralex’s promotional strategy with stakeholders such as schools, recruitment firms, regions, etc.;
  • Take part in the recruitment process of certain key and strategic positions in collaboration with HR and managers;
  • Build relationships with candidates to maintain an active network and create a pool of potential candidates;
  • Take initiatives to boost Boralex’s visibility in the marketplace through social media, networking and other creative outlets;
  • Organize and facilitate information and/or training sessions on topics related to emerging recruitment and HR marketing trends and best practices;
  • Play a monitoring role to understand and anticipate trends within your area of expertise and make appropriate recommendations.
