Your skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in finance, or any other relevant training
  • At least 7 years of relevant financial planning experience
  • CPA designation (an asset)
  • Proficiency with SAP (asset)
  • Leadership, thoroughness, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Keen interest and skills in working in a team environment
  • Sound financial judgment, and keen accounting and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken)

The position is based in Montreal.

Your challenge

Reporting to the Financial Planning team, you will be responsible for preparing the Corporation’s medium- and long-term financial forecasts. Your analytical skills and creative ideas will be sought to improve processes and develop new ones. You will also be asked to provide the information required for investors.

Do you want to know more? Your role and main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Participating in the growth strategy through the preparation of financial forecasts as part of our strategic plan
  • Coordinating the update of the monthly budget and financial forecasts for the departments under your responsibility
  • Leading ongoing conversations to improve the accuracy of financial forecasting and better capture risks and opportunities
  • Preparing cash flow forecasts on a quarterly basis or as requested
  • Working closely with the French subsidiary and the various departments to develop best practices for forecasting
  • Preparing and coordinating quarterly analyses supporting long-term asset recoverability
  • Participating in the preparation and analysis of management reports
  • Any other related tasks
